Upcoming PSP firmware 6.31

Subject: Upcoming PSP firmware 6.31 Tue Jul 27, 2010 11:04 am

Sony have just posted PSP Firmware 6.31 is pending. Nothing special is mentioned, no new features or rumored emulator support. Sony mentions only system software stability improvements. Which normally to me means they have patched an exploit or two…Hmmm maybe Mamosuke’s exploits?
Its due by the end on this month. So in a few days.

idk what all the exploits out even do. Dzking said SONY said PSP would be able to support youtube video access but i don't know if it's true...Don't start a rumor haha

Nah, theres no confirmation on that. I have a buddy of mine who works for Sony Playstation, and he tries to keep me in the loop about things, it would be nice though.

i wouldnt get why they would post another update, when they just recently released the 6.30 update. i think sony can wait before patching an exploit lol.

I think its to patch the exploit. They even started porting HBL to 6.30 using Mamosuke’s exploit. Maybe thats why Sony is releasing 6.31. You never know

I very much doubt it'll be anything more than a fix it update. Seeing as its mandatory.
